Itinerary

Day 1 :Muscat Airport Arrival & Meet Up
Arrive and transfer to the hotel in Muscat. Start the city tour and visit Muscat’s Grand Mosque (depends on on-time arrival).

Day 2 : Muscat – Nakhal – Bani Awf and camp on Bilad Sait.
After breakfast, we depart the hotel in 4WD vehicles at 8 AM, heading north toward Nakhal. We continue into the Western Hajar mountains and enter Wadi Bani Awf. As we leave the paved road, we engage our 4-wheel drive and journey through the picturesque wadi, lined with date farms. We’ll stop for our first adventure in a canyon, filled with fun and excitement. After three hours of adventure, we’ll reunite with our 4×4 drivers and head to the stunning village of Bilad Sait, where we’ll set up our first wild camp.

Day 3 : Bilad Sait / Sharaf al Alameen camp in Sharaf Al Alameen
After breakfast, we hike to Birkat al Sharaf, making a photo stop along the way. As we ascend to 2,000 meters, we enjoy breathtaking views of the Western Hajar mountain range. Walking along the Birkat Al Sharaf/Sharaf Alamein trail, we take in panoramic vistas of over 1,000 square kilometers of the Jabal Akhdar region. We’ll set up camp in a nearby area for the night.
The Walk (W8), Time (6-7hrs)

Day 4 : Al Hamra village -Jebel Shams
After breakfast, we depart our camp for Al Hamra village in the southwest. By 11:00 AM, we’ll head to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak at 3,000 meters. There, we’ll embark on the balcony walk from Al Kateen village, following the trail along the mountain edge to an abandoned village nestled in the rocks. We’ll explore the traditional terraced farms and a small lake that nourishes them. The return trip offers stunning canyon views, where we’ll pause for a picnic lunch before camping under the stars for the night.

Day 5 : Jabal shams– wadi Ghul & Nakhar village to Tanuf / camp
After breakfast we set off in 4×4’s down the mountain to Wadi Ghul and Nakhr village to view the canyon in reverse – from the bottom up, which is equally as dramatic and stunning, as this journey takes us through more than half a billion years of geological time. Stopping for coffee and dates with the people of Nakhar village we see goat hair carpets being woven and dyed. We then head off to Tanuf makes an ideal resting place for our d night of wild camping.

Day 6 : Jabel Akhdar – Abandoned village
We’ll kick off our day with a hearty breakfast before breaking camp for a trek on Jabal Akhdar, Oman’s “green mountain.” The trail begins steeply, gaining elevation from 700m to 2,200m in the first 3-4 hours, offering stunning views over Al Far village and Wadi Al Qashah. A short detour takes us to an abandoned cliff village for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon features a gentler hike as we make our way to Sayq Plateau, arriving by 4 PM to relax and watch the sunset before dinner. Finally, we’ll trek back to Tanuf, taking an hours to reach Nizwa city for an overnight stay.
Camp / plateau , Time (7-8hours)

Day 7 : Another day of trekking Tanuf -Bahla
Another day when we are up and set off early after breakfast and breaking camp to trek down from the Al Jarir region of the plateau back to Tanuf. Although a shorter route down, with ~6-7 hours of walking, this is one of the most spectacular walks in Oman, at times quite challenging with some steep scrambling in parts offering fantastic aerial views. In the afternoon we reach Bahla city were we stay for overnight Hotel Or Heritage village.

Day 8 : Heritage village / Nizwa /– Wadi Bani Khalid
In the morning we will take a tour to Nizwa city, the former capital city of Oman, Today, Nizwa is still the largest and most important town in this area of the interior and is noted for its 17th-century fort and atmospheric souks full of silversmiths’ art, especially ornately engraved khanjars. After lunch in a local restaurant, we make the 3.5hr journey to Wadi Bani Khalid for an afternoon swim before making camp.

Day 9 : Salma Plateau – Wadi Tiwi
After breakfast, we start 2 days trek up ( over salma plateau down to Wadi Tiwi ). This morning we start our 2-day trek up and over the Selma Plateau and down to Wadi Tiwi. From dipping our toes in the cool wadi waters we walk through the lush coolness of this popular and breathtaking wadi ascending gradually to an altitude of 1655m. The rugged landscape provides a stark contrast to the greenness of the wadi and offers panoramic views out over the stunning Eastern Hajar mountain range. We make wild camp on the plateau and settle down for another night under the stars.
The Walk (E35), Time (8-9hour)

Day 10 : Wadi Tiwi & Fins Beach
After an early breakfast, we’ll break camp and descend from the plateau to Wadi Tiwi. The rugged landscape leads us into the lush coolness of the wadi, where we’ll admire dramatic rock faces and palm trees. Once refreshed, we’ll walk the final stretch to our vehicles and head to our camp at the beautiful white beach, where we can relax on after set up the tents and enjoy the grilled or bbq dinner.
The Walk (E35), Time (6-7hours)

Day: 11 Wadi Shab -Bimmah SinkHole
After your breakfast we are going to Wadi Shab popular of its stunning canyon and fresh water pools it is include of hike 45 minutes and swimming inside the cave or other natural pools. After activity in the canyon of Wadi drive to Bimmah Sinkhole stop-over for photoshoot, and continue driving back to Muscat at your hotel. Wadi Shab walk is around almost 2 hours.
Night stay in Hotel.

Day 12 : Departure .
