Program

Day 1:  Arrival –

Arrive in Muscat. Meet the guide Half day city tour Visit Old Muscat. (where guests can see the Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty and .Also visit Bait Al Zubair Museum then drive to hotel.

Day  2:  Jabel Shams

07:00 HRS –  After Early Breakfast  drive to Jabel Shams. From your hotel, we will pick you up and drive to Jebal Shams. The drive takes around 2.5hrs to the base of the mountain. Before you begin the journey to the top of the mountain you will notice the abandoned village sitting on the edge of the rock face. Here is the entrance to Wadi Ghul, from here a 30-minute off-road drive takes you into the wadi past small villages and water pools to the famous carpet weaving village of Nakhr, at the end of the wadi. Here you are at the bottom of Oman ’s Grand Canyon. With friendly people and spectacular views, Wadi Ghul is well worth a visit. You may wish to take a short walk or even a mountain bike into this dramatic and pretty wadi that takes us on a journey through more than half a billion years of geological time.
