Majan Views offers you an exciting and fun-filled adventure lasting for 14 days starting with sandboarding, camping, trekking, canoeing, swimming, mountain climbing in the initial days to visiting the pottery factory, seeing the castle of Jebreen, kayaking, and much more adventurous activities for the youth.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Arrive in Muscat and transfer to the hotel (20 mins).

Day 2:
We’re up and off this morning forsee some dune and wadis just 1.5hrs north from Muscat. Enjoy the desert ski with the sand boards and desert walk on the dune heights. Then we move on to see the palm trees and wadi villages and we walk from Wadi Al Abyadh (the wight Wadi) to Al Subaykah – there will be a lot of water along the wadi so prepare to get your feet wet! along the walking way. Along the way, we will have a picnic lunch in the route and then we move to Wadi Mistal and the Ghubrah Bowl where we make our wild camp and prepare our dinner. There will be a lot of fun and activities will be there and a lot of learning from nature and the wild.

Day 3:
Early wake up prepare our breakfast before we go for a walk from Wakan – a small mountain village with many fruit plantations, lemons, figs, pomegranates, dates, etc and either circling the back of the Ghubrah Bowl or go ahead to Jabel Akhdar and going down to Hadash. where we ahead onto Wadi Bani Awf to make our camp at the terraces. We have an optional (30 min) walkthrough to see the amazing Bilad Seet mountain village.

Day 4:

Today we make great canyoning across the Snake Canyon and enjoy the amazing places around the mountain areas. This day will be full of waterfalls and great places and get ready for swimming, trekking, climbing and abseiling on our way through a real adrenalin rush!. Finishing mid-afternoon, we head up to Birkat al Sharaf where we make our camp and prepare our dinner.

Day 5:

Today we will move ahead crossing to Jebal Shams and Oman’s Grand Canyon – the stunning Balcony Walk. The 2hr walk ends with a dramatic, short, yet mostly vertical Via Ferrata out offering spectacular, rarely seen views along the Canyon. Tonight we make our wild camp on the mountain top.

Day 6:
This morning we will head down the mountain – on foot to the boulder-strewn Wadi Ghul where we can take coffee and dates with the villagers of Nakhr and set with them in their carpets and taste the traditional Omani culture. Suitably refreshed we head into the old city of Bahla and this night will stay in the heritage village and enjoy the old Omani traditional lifestyle.

Day 7:
Early morning after we take a traditional Omani breakfast we will go ahead to visit the pottery factory and practice the profession of pottery-making. After that, we will visit the amazing castle of Jebreen and take a lunch where we are heading to the Omani old capital of Nizwa to look around its magnificent fort and old traditional market and heading to set up our camp under the stars in al Sharquiah desert (Wahiba Sands).

Day 8:
The morning we will meet our Bedouin hosts and set-off to explore the dunes on camelback. Our camel safari continues as we explore the dunes with our Bedouin guides searching for desert wild along the way. Arriving back at the Bedouin camp we will have some fun desert activities or experience some traditional Bedouin lifestyle before sitting down to a traditional Bedouin lunch. We say our goodbyes and ahead to white beach drive take 2 hours where we will make our camp for the night.

Day 9:

A quick snorkel before breakfast and then After breakfast visit wadi Shab walk 45 mantes to swimming pools. Enjoy Jumping and Explore the Cave and waterfalls have lunch after that walk back to our 4×4 Cars to visit wadi Tiwi drive through the wadi and walk. Then drive to set up our camp on the white beach.

Day 10:

A quick snorkel before breakfast and we jump on our bikes to pedal our way along the coast road back towards Muscat, stopping en route to explore the sinkhole and wadis. we will set up our camp for the evening along the wild beach near Quroyyat.

Day 11:

This morning we continue peddling north exploring ruins and wadis along the way. By mid-afternoon, we reach Bander Khayran bay where we make camp for the night.

Day 12:

Today we swap peddles for paddles as we kayaking around and Exploring at Bander Khayran – lookout for turtles and rays along the way. We don our safety gear and walk up to the start and then it’s time to look down on the marine life far below us as we traverse the rock face and cave. After a relaxing and much-needed swim and lunch on the beach, it’s time to kayak back to our camp on the main beach and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure – or exploring wild beach camp.

Day 13:

Today we head for the deep sea as we go dolphin watching, returning to the marina in time for lunch we have the afternoon at leisure before heading to Muttrah Souk to explore the alleyways and shop for souvenirs! Check into a hotel then relax until dinner.

Day 14:

Depending on flight times the day can be spent exploring Muscat including the museums and Grand Mosque, one final activity or simply ‘at leisure’
