GREEN MOUNTAIN JEBEL AKHDAR

OVERVIEW
Jebel Akhdar– is the mountain range in the Western Hajar, the name meaning Green Mountain in English. Its main town of Sayq lies at 2300m and the highest point 3000m in Jebal Shams. The range measures around 12 miles from north to south and 18 miles from east to west.” The Green Mountain” is famous for its labyrinth of wadis and terraced orchards, where pomegranates, apricots, and roses grow in abundance due to its mild Mediterranean climate and also the view from the top of Saiq Plateau or canyon view.

ITINERARY
Muscat to Jebel Akhdar 157 km
When everyone is ready, our guide will meet you in the hotel lobby at 8:00 am. It will take us 1 or 2 hours drive to get to the Jebel Akhdar. We’re going to this place called the “fruit farms and rose farm.” Stroll int three Old Village and walk on the terraces farm made up of enormous agricultural stairs where you can find roses, fruits, and vegetables. The breathtaking scenery of the “green mountain” mountain of terraces is the main attraction also visit Wadi Bani Habib village. Jebel Akhdar has a perfect weather during summer even in the winter.
