OVERVIEW

The Sultanate of Oman has long captured the imagination of desert lovers. Under the guidance of our Arabian hosts, this desert discovery follows ancient trails of nomadic tribes and desert explorers. Arriving into the colorful city of Muscat, we visit the lively souks and fish markets before joining the Muttrah Trail to enjoy panoramic views of Muscat’s ancient port. Journeying south, we visit Wadi Shab and it’s swimmer’s cave before driving onwards to the Wahiba Sands, home to the Al-Wahiba Bedouin. Our well-paced desert exploration crosses unbroken dunes, some of them up to 100m high. Leaving the magic of the desert, we head for the former, ancient capital, Nizwa, and explore the old fort or if you so wish, barter with local silversmiths in the Souk. With its renowned Arabian hospitality and dramatic desert environments and scenic mountains, Oman is a welcoming destination for the intrepid traveler.

TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrival –
Arrive in Muscat. Meet the guide and drive to the hotel at Muscat.

Day 2 : Muscat City Tour
Today’s visit the magnificent Grand Mosque to explore and discover the beauty attached. Next drive around the Ministries & Embassies Area, and then proceed to the Muttrah Souq, a traditional market where guests can find fine souvenirs of local handicrafts from Oman. Visit Old Muscat. (where guests can see the Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty and also visit Bait Al Zubair Museum, back hotel (Meals: B & L)

Day 3 : Jabrin Castle – Bahla – Al Hamra – Misfat
We will depart Muscat and head into Oman’s interior after breakfast. You will go to visit Jabreen Castle, which is the most exquisite castle in Oman to discover the history attached, and drive to Bahla Town. Then have lunch nearby restaurant. In the next visit the village of Al Hamra (Bait Al Safah Museum) and drive back to Misfat Village for overnight stay. (Meals: B, L & D).

Day 4 : Nizwa Fort & Souq – Wahiba Sands
Today’s program drive going to Nizwa explore the old city and walk to the old town and visit the fortress and Souq. In the afternoon drive going to Wahiba Sands they called the Arabian jewel which is a hot-spot for adventurous travelers like dune bashing and sunset watching. Then stay at your hotel. (Meals: B, L & D).

Day 5 : Wahiba – Wadi Bani Khalid-Sur City
In the morning depart from Wahiba. Then drive to Wadi Bani Khalid enjoy the beautiful nature and swimming in the torques water. In the afternoon drive going to Sur explore the city and the night we have a turtle watching activity. Then back to your hotel.
Note: Turtle watching is a phenomenal we can’t give you a full guarantee to see turtles because it is from nature. (Meals: B, L & D).

Day 6 : Sur –Wadi Shab-Muscat
Today’s schedule visiting Wadi Shab, 1st we should go to visit Dhow factory a quick visit, popular by wood boat builders. Then drive direct to Wadi Shab (Wadi meaning valley between cliffs). 45 minutes of walking. You will have the opportunity to swim through crystal clear water and dive through a narrow keyhole, inside you will find a magnificent cave, complete with an incredible waterfall. Enjoy the swimming and after activity going back to the vehicles and drive going back to Muscat. (Meals: B, L,)

Day 7 : Muscat – Depart to Airport

What to bring/wear :
-Sun cream, sunglasses, hat, camera, or case!
-Everything you need it to stay for one night will be cold weather.
-It is advisable to bring a medium-sized backpack so that you can carry your water.
-A sense of adventure!
