TRIP ITINERARY

DAY 1: MUSCAT ARRIVAL
Meet and greet the family or group. then make your way to the hotel from Muscat Airport. A member of our local guide will accompany the group on the 20-minute drive to the hotel during this transfer, which typically takes place in the middle of the morning. Majan Views package services begin with a lunch at the local restaurant. After a few hours of rest and you have to chance to relax at your hotel, we will be ready to do some exploring in the afternoon with a short tour at Old Muscat. Highlights include visiting the Sultan’s Palace and the Bait Al Zubair Museum, followed by a walk along the corniche to explore the Muttrah Souk. Having dinner and back to your hotel.

DAY 2: ISLAND OF BANDAR KKHAIRAN (DOLPHIN WATCH & SNORKELLING)

After breakfast at the hotel, we have a short transfer to the marina, where we board a boat and go out on a deep-water dolphin-watching cruise and snorkeling. Along the Omani coastline, enjoy watching common dolphin, the bottlenose dolphin, spinner dolphins.. Then snorkeling to other island to see colorful coral, fish and turtle… Back on the boat, we will be able to have snacks on board as we sail back to the marina. Reunited with our road transport, we will drive going to south for an hour and a half along Oman’s coastline, stopping in a nice spot where we will set up our wild camp for the night near by in the beach.

DAY 3: WADI SHAB -SUR DHOW FACTORY -TURTLE WATCHING

We can start the day with a dip in the sea, before breakfast if you like. The water is warm and refreshing. Then, we have a short drive to visit one of the country’s loveliest natural features, the Wadi Shab. There are a number of these rocky valleys that penetrate inland from the coast and Wadi Shab is probably the most well known. Lined with palm trees and including several hidden pools ideal and cave for swimming. To reach the best of the swimming holes, including one in a cave, we will need to walk for about an hour. Lunch in the local restaurant then continue our journey southwards to the town of Sur, where we will stop to visit the traditional dhow building yard. After another hour’s drive, we reach our beachside nearest accommodation for turtle watching in the night at Ras al Jinz Turtle Reserve. (Meals: B,L,D)Overnight Hotel

DAY 4: WADI BANI KHALID- WAHIBA SANDS

Today’s program are Wadi Bani Khalid and Whiba Sands. It usually takes 1 or 2 hours of driving to reach your destination tour. 1st visit of your tour is Wadi Bani Khalid more to discover the nature beauty of Wadi and enjoying the peaceful turquoise water of the wadi, you can do swimming at this picturesque oasis of a natural freshwater pools surrounding by different rock formation and greenery palm trees. 2nd visit is Wahiba Sands they called the Arabian jewel which is a hot-spot for adventurous travelers. The most loved outdoor activities for the visitors are in the centered of the deserts enjoy dune bashing, Sand boarding, and walk in the dunes.. (Meals: B,L,D)Overnight Camping

DAY 5: NIZWA FORT-JABREEN-BAHLA VILLAGE

From the desert we are going to Nizwa city a former capital of the Sultanate until its replacement by Muscat currently. The Fort of the city built in 17th century by Imam Sultan bin Saif al-arabi, who drove the Portuguese out of the territory Omani in 1650 with panoramic view. After exploring the Fort stroll and discover the Souq. Next visit is the Jabreen Castle important for learning astrology, medicine and Islamic law and last in the list is Bahla town, stroll in the village and visit the pottery factory and in the village of bahla…Overnight at Bahla Hotel (Meals: B,L,D)

DAY 6: JEBEL SHAMS – AL HAMRA

After breakfast drive going to the mountain of Sun ” Jebel Shams Canyon” From Al Kateen Village, we follow the ‘Balcony Trail 3 – 4 hours walking’ along the mountain’s edge to an abandoned village, which clings to the rocks and is completely amaze with a beautiful scenic view.. In the afternoon going to traditional Omani Village known as Al Hamra visit and explore the living Musuem known as Bait Al Safah. Stay Overnight at Misfah Abreeyen. (Meals: B,L,D)

DAY 7: MISFAH VILLAGE – IBRA – MUSCAT

After breakfast at our lodging, We a have a walk in the village and farms to explore the traditional way of life of the people of the Al Hajar Mountains. We are taken on a tour of the village on a well-made pathway that in places follows the meandering irrigation system or ‘falaj’. Water is brought down into the village and walk through under the palm trees. After lunch we have a stop over at the Village of IBRA. Then drive going back to your hotel in Muscat.(B,L,D)

DAY 8: SULTAN QABOOS GRAND MOSQUE-DEPARTURE
After breakfast visit inside the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and transfer to Muscat Airport for your departure.
