TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1 : Arrival
Arrive in Muscat. Meet the guide and drive to the hotel. (20 mins )

Day 2 : Muscat City Tour

09:00 HRS – visit the Grand Mosque, the only mosque in Oman where visitors are allowed inside. It has the biggest 1 piece hand made Iranian carpet in the world. The interior walls are made of Carara marbles. Drive around the Ministries & Embassies Area, and then proceed to the Muttrah Souq, a traditional market where guests can find fine souvenirs of local handicrafts from Oman. Visit Old Muscat. ( picnic lunch). (where guests can see the Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty and. Also, visit Bait Al Zubair Museum than driving to Wadi Shab Resort. From Muscat to Wadi Shab 1 hour and a half ( 150km) (B & L).

Day 3 : Muscat to Sur

08:30HRS: After breakfast visits Wadi Shab walks 45 minutes adventure trekking to reach the natural freshwater swimming pools inside the cave. Then back to Car and visit Wadi Tiwi drives through the wadi. Then drive to Sur 1 hour have lunch in local Restaurant then visit the dhow building factory at 2 pm. Then drive 45 minutes to Turtle beach Resort at 9 pm we go to watch Turtles for their nesting season, at 11 pm drive back to Resort to stay overnight. ( from Wadi Shab to Resort 120km) (B, L & D)

Day 4 : Sur to Wahiba

08:30 HRS: Depart Turtle beach Resort to Sur in the morning and Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most beautiful oases in Oman. It is a lush valley oasis with date palms & pools surrounded by cliffs. You can enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools of the wadi and walk around wadi for 1 hour and half. In the afternoon you will proceed to the Wahiba Sands, where we can enjoy dune driving this includes stop in a Bedouin campsite and witnessing the sunset. Picnic lunch included in Wadi . from Turtle beach Resort to Wadi Bani Khalid 190km. than from wadi to Desert 50km (B, L & D).

Day 5 : Wahiba to Nizwa

08:30HRS: Depart Wahiba Sands to Nizwa via Birkat Al Mouz we found it in the foothill of Jabel Al Akhdar mountain. We will visit their to see their natural wanders, architectural attractions, and most famous villages ruins in the Sultanate of Oman. Lunch in a local Restaurant. In the afternoon visit Nizwa Fort and souk to discover the imam history of the Fort. Drive from Desert to Nizwa (200km ) Take more than 2 hours. Nizwa hotel overnight (B, L & D)

Day 6 : Nizwa-Bahla-Jabreen

08:30HRS: Precede to the villages Bahla fort was belong to the Unesco World Heritage and additional visit at the Pottery factory of the local Omani’s for their craftsman and Visit the Jabreen Castle known for its impressive castle was built by the Yaruba dynasty Imam Bil’arab bin Sultan, who ruled from 1679 to 1692. Then to Al Hamra, Misfat Al Abreyeen, Lunch in the local restaurant included. then drive up to the mountain of Jable Shams. (Jable Shams Resort B, L & D)

Day 7: Jabel Shams to Muscat via Wadi Bani Awf and NakhL

08:30 HRS– Depart Jabel Shams with a stop in Wadi Bani Awf ( Balad Sayt )and in the afternoon visit of Nakhl Fort. Picnic lunch included. Arrive in Muscat (B & L).
