The Grand Canyon of Oman As you stand on the edge of this drop, clinging to the barriers, it’s almost impossible to get a sense of perspective and scale, so huge is the drop and so vast are the mountain slopes opposite you. A little further on from here a scruffy mountain village marks the start of the rim walk under the lip of the Grand Canyon.

What you will do?
Be prepared to Enjoy This isn’t a small canyon. Driving toward the massive peaks looming ahead, we began to see huge fractures in the landscape which, as we grew near, we realized were even bigger than they appeared from a distance. Partway up the mountain, we stopped at Wadi Ghul, to look at the Omani weaving. This mountainous area supports sheep and goats, and wadi Ghul has one of the highest concentrations of weavers you will see. The local people here offered to coffee and dates, the love get from the sheep’s wool rugs. then drive to Top you will find the people Sells some old fossils and stone.

HIGHLIGHTS

GRAND CANYON:
After breakfast you will meet the guide at 08:00 am. Then drive take one hour toward North West Nakhal town. Then tern through Wadi Bani Awf. The drive takes 45 mantes until you arrive at the starting point for we start canyoning The first walk easy because very low of water.  Then we will have a small jump to the water. It will take 2 -3 hours to walk and jump and swimming in the canyon. Most of the time there is a lot of water you will enjoy this incredible valley, canyon and the special small cave where we will start and enjoy swimming. Then will have lunch at the end of the canyon and change the wet clothes. Then drive back the same road which will take around 2 hours to your hotel.

What to bring/wear:
-Sun cream, sunglasses, hat, waterproof camera or case!
-It is advisable to bring a medium-sized backpack so that you can carry your water
-Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that you can swim in and bring a change of clothes for the journey back.
-A sense of adventure!
-Light comfortable trainers. (which will get wet)
